[IMPORTANT] Map Change?

Hello fellow Neo-Utopians! Since recently, the map has gone bugged, with the 1.0 biome bug. This has made me, Neko and Momo think about the idea of resetting the map.
The general idea:
- Change the map
- We will keep the cities Yorkopolis, CyberPolis, and Neo-Utopia, as well as the BiomeDome.
- A reset of the Economy.
This means that we will have a less-crowded map, Abandoned Mineshafts, Ravines, and Strongholds close to the spawn, and more size to expand our cities into. This also means we will have plenty of time to start up again, build newer and bigger villages/cities adapted to 1.0, and a completely fresh start.

Minecraft 1.0 and N-U map.
Hello Neo-Utopians!
As you may know, Minecraft 1.0 ("final" version) will be released tomorrow by Notch at Minecon.
This will add many things to Minecraft, like the Endworld, the magic, etc ...
But it will take time for bukkit developpers to update their mod, same thing for the plugins. This is why it is better to NOT update your Minecraft tomorrow. The server will stay in 1.8.1 until bukkit is updated.
If you want to try the 1.0 version, you can save your Minecraft folder before updating it. Like this, you will be able to play on the server as well.
Also, I noticed that a lot of players have trouble to find their house in the Capital. But not anymore! Here is a map of the city : http://www.neo-utopi...topia-city-map/

1.8 Nightmare is almost over!
Hello fox!
As you may have seen already, the server was in trouble after the 1.8 update. Most of our cool plugins were down, shops were closed, and it was impossible for us to manage ranks.
We still have troubles with ranks and candidacies, so here are some instructions to follow to get back your rank or to get the builder rank.
For players who are ALREADY Builders :
Most of you are back to the Visitor rank, but that was not intentionnal. We are ranking up players who were already builder. That means players who already were Builders don't have to post a new candidacy, but you MUST send us a personnal message to say that you were a builder and with, if possible, a link to your "old" candidacy.
For players who are NOT Builders yet :
We apologize to all players who posted their candidacies when the server was down. We ask you to repost your candidacy (just copy past your old one if it was good, that should do it).

More drastic about candidacies
Hello everybody!
As you know, every new player has to apply to get in our server. We thought it will be enough to prevent greif and to keep anoying players outside.
Well, we were wrong.
Some bad players managed to get in, and for that, we are sorry.
So we have decided to be a lot more drastic about candidacies. That means every topic which does not respect exactly the [Readme] topic will be refused without explaination.
Also, even a good a candidacy will be refused if the player was anoying ingame.
We hope it will be enough to keep them away.

Don't call me "subway" anymore!
Hello everybody!
As you may already know, Neko and I are working on the Subway 2.0, operated by the NUTA (Neo-Utopia Transports Authority)
This new transit system will be much more effective and less laggy than the old subway.
It's also much more easier to use; just stand near the railway and press the button, you will be teleported in the minecart. When the minecart arrive to a station, you will be ejected.
The NUTA network is divided in 5 main lines.
Red, Blue, Cyan, Green and Yellow.

All those lines will start at Neo-Utopia Station. You can see where those lines go thanks to signs near the information point of the Neo-Utopia station.
In the future, we may add a 6th main line.
We also plan to build secondary lines, to link some place to the main lines or to link two main lines together.
For now, only the Red Line is finished, but we started to work on the Blue one
As the old subway, it is forbiden to walk on the railways. If you end up in a tunnel, walk to the next station by using the sidewalks, then use the 'EXIT' door.
